Current mood:
busy
1) MySpace would completely take over Facebook if the search feature worked well... b/c facebook pulls some gay shit. They have cut my page short on several occasions and as long winded as I am... Its pretty annoying.2) Some smiles can make a girls face light up like an angels. I was at dinner with a girl I had never met before. I wish I had captured one of her smiles/laughs. Its one that seems to take all presedence over all facial movement, which is a horrible way to describe it...b/c that makes it sound like a spasm. It is, however, a smile that you cannot fake. A true smile of hapiness. To conclude, I really liked that smile.
3) Dance clubs blow my mind. Why I ever go to them is beyond me. STORY: Its always a bad time to evaluate where you are in life while you are sober in a dance club but these things occured to me; as far as why dance clubs are useless to me. The main reason is that both men and women (in most cases) are looking for 2 different things (at least in the dance clubs I visit). The large majority of guys there are looking for ass. plain and simple. One time ass and if its good ass... maybe it will fall into a relationship. There are also a number of guys who want to find a hot girl who is drunk and see if he can get a number so he can be rejected at a later hour. Girls on the other hand (if not trashy skanks) either just want to dance with their friends and go home.... or they need a confidence booster so they dress as skanky as possible and see how many guys will hit on them as if it is a competition. There are however those who both are just looking for someone to hook up with and have experience in this field and can find their match fairly quick and leave with them. For guys and girls such as myself who have no real interest in one nighters and dry humping... the dance club offers very little but excessive drinking and empty hopes of finding another person who shares your ideas/feelings.
.... I told you it was a bad time to have one of those reflective times in life... but it happened... so there it is. Im sure next time I go to a dance club I'll be shitfaced and just want to grab some ass... so it will work out fine....
4)THE ORDINANCE: I have recently learned that nearly half of Birmingham is Homophobic and/or they really dont want the stereotypical overcrowded mexican families moving into a house. The "upper class" parts of town such as homewood and vestavia have put in place an ordinance to disallow anyone non-related persons from living in a house together. NO SHIT.... and its completely legal! How that is possible I have no idea. "well how would that even be inforced", you ask. Nosey neighbors is the answer we were given by the realtors we talked to.... right before one of the realtors made this comment: "I saw two mexicans in walmart the other day... and they were buying suitecases... and i thought to myself... 'well things are looking up' ".... REALLY? that was pretty offensive for a realtor to say to a complete stranger / possible customer. Anyway that pretty much sucks for me and JD b/c that means we cant get the house in vestavia that we wanted unless one of us adopts the other or we get married in maryland... or whatever state it is that allows gay marriages now.... but I dont want to mary jd to get mediocre house in vestavia..... A great one maybe... but not mediocre...lol. I may post the 8 pictures of the apartment we are looking at moving into later... but its 3 stories with 4 rooms, 2 1/2 bath and a 2 car garage.... and probably the best view you can find in b'ham. The place also has 2 raquetball courts, a gym, 2 pools... one with 2 lap lanes, a jogging trail, 2 tennis courts and a beach volleyball court. Not bad at all and only $1180/month... which is in no way bad between 3 possibly 4 people.
