Spring is Coming!

    You could smell it in the air today. My favorite part of the year is almost here. Even though winter has only been an uncomfortable cold this year... it still lasted longer than I would have liked (which is any period longer that 3 minutes). Today was different though. I knew as soon as I walked outside and felt the sun on my face with the slight hint of a cool breeze. I went as far as to put rap music on in the car to simulate an early Spring Break.

Reasons that Spring is the best time in the year:
* Girls ditch the turtle necks and jeans and break out the slutiest skimpy outfits they can find.
* Beaches become fun again
* Swimming and Cookouts start up
* You can stand in the rain and not be totally miserable (possibly even enjoy it)
* I can take the top off the jeep... and keep it off at night
* FISHING!!!!!! THANK YOU GOD ... I can fish in shorts again
* College Football practice is starting... I can stop focusing on recruiting and pay attention to how my tigers are doing on the field.
* Spring Break... for those who can still do it
* better golf weather
* girls in less clothing
* better weather in general.... best weather for dating (picnics, camping trips, day trips, parks, outside lunch/dinner restraunts) or house parties (people dont like playing beer pong or flip cup in the cold)
* Flowers (as gay as that sounds)... check out the azaleas in daphne or fairhope... they make the place look great
* You can open the windows in your place... turn off the air conditioner/heater and just let the breeze from outside fill your place....
* If you are young or young at heart like myself... its time to start building your forts and/or tree houses
* those with seasonal asthma triggered by cold weather can once again go jogging and play outdoor sports
* Anything else on the planet that is fun and worth talking about have some kind of vital connection to Spring. If you dont agree you are wrong.
